The aim data migration
utility moves data from ark 4.0 data tables to aim data
tables ... so that ark 4.0 users can seamlessly make the transition when
upgrading to aim.
The data migration steps are
simple ... select the location of each database and click the
Start button.
NOTE: If you
installed ark 4.0 and aim using the default settings, this
information will be automatically inserted.
When this form displays,
technical information will be displayed related to the number of animal
inventory and contact records to be migrated.
Click the Run
Migration Steps button to start the migration process.
During the data migration process, a checkmark will be placed next to
each category of data as it is moved from the ark 4.0 data
tables to the aim data tables.
Migration notes are
logged to the display pane on the right side of the form. At
the completion of the migration process, a copy of the migration notes
will be automatically saved to the aim folder.
